I never post on here, but maybe I should.

Today was one of those busy job busy mom days where all I really wanted to do was curl up in a ball and go to sleep.

Going on a week and half of this tonsil infection. Antibiotics of 6 days, only 4 more to go, still feel like crap.

Ok, done complaining.

I have a house, I have a job, I have a great family. Happy I am.

I forgot about this blog!

Oh, so I was on this big kick of documenting the trials of being a working mom, but guess what? Being a working mom really means no time for anything extra. So, 12 months and three posts later...ya, good job me! hahahahahahahahahah

I am not back on the kick, but I figured I would put one up tonight so that I could document the fact that yes, I am still a busy working mom. But guess what else I am? A mom who plans cool Halloween costumes. A mom who takes kids out for ice cream because I want it more than they do. haha. A mom who borrows a cat for the weekend to kill mouse, and knows that she is going to disappoint her daughter, but says, "At least I will get rid of the mice. " A mom who yells at kids every now and then. But a mom who lets them stay up late and watch movies (shhh) on a school night. Eeek. So, I am probably a terrible mom. They do say that when you try to do two things well, you usually end up doing both poorly.

Stinks for me! But guess what? My kids love me, I love my kids, my house is managed, although not always well, and even though I stay up until well after midnight working or watching shows with my hubby, at least I occasionally get a nap in during the day. Weird post? Well, what do you expect? It is 12:36!

Work, what work?

So I obviously haven't been on here in a while. That would be because I am a busy working mommy.

This week...work was difficult. I did not feel up to it, the kids did not make it easy. In addition, one of my writers quit, leaving me with extra, unexpected work. Yay for life!

My three reasons to get no work done have been the way they always are, wonderful, needy, and frustrating. My one saving Grace! Brett! He was wonderful all week. Saturday he sent me out for a Pedicure while he played witht he kids.

Love him.
